IS MY CHILD SUPERIOR TALENTED
Giftedness is an innate trait and children with this ability have some distinctive features from the early stages of their lives.
Determining whether a child is gifted or not is important for determining and arranging the environmental factors and educational opportunities to be offered to him. Because if the existing superior talents are not cultivated and developed, they become ordinary and may lose their characteristics.
When we consider the characteristics of preschool period, it is possible to have an idea about whether children are gifted or not based on some of their behaviors, interests and tendencies.
The features that can be seen in children in the pre-school period and that may be the precursors of giftedness are as follows:
Language development shows a rapid development in the early childhood period. Many gifted children can speak in sentences on their first birthday
Gifted children are interested in toys and subjects that other children are not interested in

In order for a child to be considered gifted, they must have many of these characteristics; however, it is not expected to exhibit all these features. Because, as in all matters related to children, individual differences are important in this regard. Not every gifted child shows interest in the same fields or exhibits superior characteristics in the same field.
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GIANTED CHILDREN
