Although it is a part of normal life, when stress cannot be controlled, it can lead to emotional, psychological and even physical problems such as high blood pressure, heart attack, rhythm disturbance and chest pain. Stress, which was first defined by Hans Selye in the 1930s, is by definition a biological response to negative emotions and events.

Why Don’t Zebras Get Ulcers? Robert Sapolsky explained why people, not zebras, have ulcers as follows: When stress for a zebra encounters a lion, the mechanisms in the zebra’s body that will help it escape from the lion are activated and an act of escape occurs. In the end, the zebra either becomes the prey or survives. When the zebra is freed, all symptoms of stress disappear. If the zebra faces the possibility of encountering the lion again, it continues its daily life quite comfortably without thinking about what to do. Humans and zebras react differently to stress. People keep stress in their long-term life, think about it, think negatively. Over time, stress leads people to diseases ranging from ulcers to heart diseases, from depression to cancer.

Why do we use hypnosis in the educational field? Because the subconscious mind that we work with under hypnosis learns with much less repetition compared to the conscious mind. Our subconscious mind also begins to learn by repetition. Whereas, 41 repetitions are required in order to learn a piece of information in the conscious mind. Since this 6-fold difference allows us to learn easily from the subconscious, we shift easy learning to the educational field. Therefore, we teach our students to self-hypnosis in their very first sessions, and when our student sits down to the head of the lesson and puts himself into hypnosis, he starts learning 6 times faster than his competitors from the first day. Of course, we do not stop there. From the beginning of the academic year, we prepare the student for that exam by going through certain stages throughout the year until the exam within a certain plan.
