The story of a mother with insulin resistance

by clinic

As a young girl, she was very thin, charming, and had a clear beauty that made her look behind her. Life was in constant motion, every day was pregnant with another change, just as it was in his life. She had a beautiful marriage and had her first child at the age of 22, a new baby 2 years later, and another. Life was better with her children, but her body lines changed during her pregnancies, and she could not lose the weight she gained during pregnancy. Now he couldn’t find time for himself. The needs of her children were her eldest daughter’s school life, her husband’s intense work schedule, and she and her increasing weight were the most affected by them.

One day, he decided to go to a highly recommended and experienced Doctor (I am humble 🙂 ). She could no longer tolerate hunger, she wanted to consume sweets often, and although she could eat regularly, her weight was increasing day by day. There was no feeling of satiety. She answered sincerely what her doctor asked. One question of the doctor did not cross his mind. She was 175 cm tall and only 56 kg when she was a young girl, but now she has gained 25 kg in the past 10 years. After his doctor examined him in detail, he asked for some tests and a few days later they made an appointment to discuss the results. She got the results after 3 days.

He was very relieved because he did not have a serious illness that would affect his life. Yes, she had insulin resistance, but if she was careful, she could completely recover. This is the reason why she gained weight even if she ate less. If the delayed weight gains, the risk of developing diabetes will increase. He needed to eat appropriate foods regularly. His doctor had mentioned something called the glycemic index, which is the level of sugar increase in foods. She had to consume those foods in appropriate amounts, should not neglect her snacks, and if necessary, she should take the children with her and take a walk for at least half an hour every day. Her doctor had said that her goal was to lose 10% of her weight in 6 months. This was also very important: She had given up halfway through her previous diets, thinking that she could not lose weight. However, the goal of losing 8 kilos in 6 months was both realistic and she could easily reach her goal.

Do not delay the fight with your excess weight.
