  • Are you orthorexic?

‘Healthy Eating Obsession’, orthorexia, which is a different problem from overeating (obesity) and not eating (anorexia); It is a diet consumption that pays attention to the quality of the food eaten, sugar, fat, salt rate, low strength, no additives, and fresh foods that are strong in terms of organic and vitamins. A one-way diet can lead to conditions such as a strong dependence on healthy foods.

  • Too much dependence on healthy foods disrupts the mental balance!!

Eating healthy foods all the time and making sure that what you eat is not freshly processed, eating fruits and vegetables raw, and obsessing over them can reveal an eating disorder after an obvious respite. In individuals who are no different from dieters, this situation destabilizes them mentally, and the further increase in this situation may lead to more serious disorders.

  • Unidirectional nutrition can have different results.

Perceptions, such as what a fit landscape we have started to see in social media accounts today, keep the situation in the foreground and direct the truth to one-sided feeding. And if we continue to eat one-way with these perceptions, we may become obsessed with our nutrition and as a result, we may experience eating disorders. For this reason, we should eat consistently and consciously without obsessing.

  • Calculating the daily calorie intake

Nutrition, which has a wide area in life, is with us at every hour and every moment of the day. For this reason, thinking about how much fat, strength and vitamins I have taken during the day and always being busy with them can affect our mental health. And these ideas can slowly isolate us from social environments. Friend can separate us. Eating is not a reason to isolate oneself from society and to punish oneself. Therefore, we should not forget that the obsession with eating healthy food is not healthy.
