Nutrition therapy in diabetes should be planned specifically for the individual. A nutrition plan
should be prepared according to the degree of diabetes,
age, height and weight of the person, and nutritional habits.
The most valuable issue to be considered in diabetes is the meal order and
portions. Consuming the recommended foods on time and in the recommended portions
is very valuable for the success of the treatment.
What is valuable in diabetes is to have a stable diet at meals. Each food group
should be consumed in appropriate sizes. These food clusters;
1st group; milk, yoghurt, cheese
2nd group; meat, chicken, fish, eggs, legumes, hazelnuts, almonds
