What is alkaline diet and what is not?
The importance of alkaline diet, which was first put forward by physician William Howard Hay in 1907, has begun to be understood better today. Foods are often classified into two categories, acid or alkaline, depending on the sediment they leave in the body after they are metabolized. In order to keep the pH level of the blood between 7.35-7.45, our bones try to balance the acidic wastes caused by excess protein by allowing alkaline minerals to mix with the blood. Acidic wastes are excreted from the body through the kidneys and urine. The lungs take in oxygen, which is alkaline, and give off carbon dioxide, which is acid.
Alkaline nutrition originating from vegetables and fruit juices helps strengthen our immune system by keeping acid-forming foods away from the body.
So what are alkaline foods?
Alkaline Minerals: Magnesium, calcium, potassium, iron, manganese.
Acidic Minerals: Phosphorus, iodine, sulfur.
Alkaline Foods: All raw vegetables, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, endive, artichoke, cabbage, cauliflower, radish, leek, lettuce, cress, purslane, turnip, beet root, celery, green beans, fresh peas , olive oil, linseed oil, green tea, herbal teas, dates, carrots, watermelon, melon, pineapple, kiwi, avocado, pomegranate, fig, ginger, almond, sesame.

What is alkaline water?
The acid stability of our body becomes irregular due to malnutrition, diseases, tension, and environmental rules. As a result of the irregularity of acid stability, we encounter problems such as weight gain, lack of recovery and depression. The body finds it difficult to expel some of the acids. Alkaline water strengthens the immune system by allowing toxins and acids to be expelled more easily. It regulates the water stability of the cells. As a result of excess acid metabolism slows down. With alkaline water, acid stability is re-established, metabolism accelerates and fat burning is supported in this way.
The easiest definition of alkaline water preparation:
Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda into 2 liters of water and mix well until homogeneous. This prepared mixture is consumed throughout the day.
