Many of the foods we enjoy with pleasure are foods that are strong in fat. We want to eat these foods and not gain weight… Here are the ways to reduce the fat used in their preparation in order to increase the size of these delicious foods:

  • Become a candidate to be the diet chef and taste guru of your kitchen from this day forward. Search for low-fat definitions from books, magazines, and dietitians’ websites with nutritional prices and try them with pleasure.

  • Enrich your kitchen. Increase both your kitchen aids (such as a vegetable simmering basket, a pepper grinder) and fat-free flavorings (such as onions, garlic, lemon, vinegar, pomegranate syrup, herbs and spices) that will add flavor to your meals.

  • Get a non-stick pan right away. For example, you can choose ceramic pans. In this way, you will lose 90 calories by getting rid of a tablespoon of oil that you will add to your meals.

  • Bring grill, oven, steam cooking methods to your home. Avoid fries as much as possible. I am sure that the roasted eggplant prepared with roasted eggplant or the summer fries prepared in the toaster will give you more pleasure than the original. Come on try it!

  • Spray your oil. Instead of pouring oil, go for spraying oil or oil your pan slowly with an egg brush.

  • Is greasy sauces, butter, or cream the only way to enhance the flavor of food? How about creating more delicious and healthy flavors with various herbs and spices?

  • To sweeten your food, you can get help from fragrant herbs such as basil, thyme, parsley, rosemary, cinnamon, coconut, milled pepper, mustard, ketchup, low-fat or fat-free yogurt.

  • Try the salads and sauces that you will prepare with mayonnaise and cream with yoghurt, especially with strained yoghurt, you will notice the complete change in taste.

  • Also, do not use oil in the dishes you prepare with meat, and separate the visible fat on the meat before preparing the food. The fat in the middle of the fiber of the meat will be enough for your meal.

  • When cooking poultry, remember to separate the skins. Because in this type of meat, the most fat is in the skins of animals.

  • Cook the fish by wrapping it in parchment paper or aluminum foil. Reduce fat without sacrificing flavor.
